Why morning exercise is great

There are many reasons why you should exercise in the morning. Here are a few of the best ones...

From LifeScript.com:
Morning Exercise Provides Top Benefits

1. Consistency

As the day goes on you get busier and busier and your schedule can change, leaving you no time for exercise. Get your workout out of the way by doing it first thing in the morning and you can be flexible (no pun intended) to any changes that may pop up during your day.

2. Metabolism Boost

Start your day right and you'll reap the benefits all day long! Morning exercise will rev up your metabolism, helping you to burn more calories throughout the day, without having to do anything different. You could be burning more calories while reading this if you had only worked out this morning!

3. Healthy Routine

Your body craves routine! Waking up at the same time every day allows your body to regulate many different functions for optimal performance all day long. Research has even shown that your body is better able to prepare for the day ahead when your sleeping routine is consistent.

4. Smarten Up!

Have an important meeting with the boss today? What about that big scary test you have at school today? Exercising in the mornings boosts your mental activities, helping you to stay focused all day long, feeding your need for success.

5. You Will Look and Feel AWESOME!

Your body will thank you, and so will your mirror! Exercise is not only healthy for your heart; it's also great for an ego-boost. With consistent exercise you will shed unwanted pounds that have plagued you for years and give you a new outlook on life!

I wholeheartedly endorse morning exercise! In addition to the reasons listed here, getting up early and exercising allows you to begin each day with a success.

How often do you plan to get up early only to fail, and then spend the rest of the day berating yourself for it?

Make the commitment to yourself to do your workout first thing in the morning. You'll feel great after winning the battle of mind over mattress!
